Key Responsibilities
The Independent Person will provide independent, objective input to support robust decision-making by the Pension Committee, offer constructive challenge on governance, investment strategy, risk management, and compliance, and contribute to the oversight of the Fund’s administration and performance.
They will also support adherence to LGPS regulations, statutory guidance, and best practice, participate fully in meetings, training, and development activities, and promote high standards of governance and accountability.

The Fund is looking for candidates who can demonstrate high standards of integrity and professionalism, and who are able to work collaboratively with others while maintaining their independence.
